I have been in the real estate industry for almost a decade. I originally started a credit consulting organization to work closely with current and future homebuyers teaching them how to improve credit scores to maximize their buying power. The company called Columbus Credit Solutions is still operating but I have someone else running it as I spend most of my time now helping homebuyers find their dream home. I am now the broker for The Columbus Real Estate Company and love absolutely every aspect of our business.

Our office really prides itself on being able to offer what we like to call a “One Stop Shop”. I provide credit consulting for those who want to learn more about how to improve their credit standing. I refer a couple of our preferred lenders that have always provided unbelievable customer service and competitive rates. Lastly I guide each and every homebuyer through the entire home buying process. Carol Spurgin

Hello, I am Carol, licensed Realtor with The Columbus Real Estate Company.  I specialize in Custom Homes, Lease to Own, and am a very experienced Listing Agent with a creative marketing strategy!

I am proud to call Ohio my home – I grew up in Dublin, and now reside with my husband, Erik, and two children, Broderick and Audrey, in Bexley. Although I have lived in Central Ohio for most of my life; I have moved from coast to coast and many places in between, so I understand the stress of moving, and I am here to help you from start to finish.

I have previously lived in Clintonville, German Village, Downtown, and Northwest Columbus. My family members reside in Dublin, Blacklick, Lewis Center, and Marysville. I am quite familiar with the market all over Columbus and the surrounding areas.

Prior to becoming a Realtor I spent 6+ years as a loan officer. This exposure to mortgage lending and residential finance provides you with a clear advantage because I can easily navigate the wide array of home loans – a process that is frequently confusing and stressful.

Prior to working with The Columbus Real Estate Company, I was with Dunmoor Realty and A-List Realty and handled many Real estate transactions on both sides. My Seller’s were eager to work with me due to my knowledge and professionalism. Buyers were continually impressed that I found for them the home of their dreams.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 1998. My other interests include spending time with my children, exercise, nutrition, books, movies, art, sewing and science!
